Just Released, Spring 2009 three new titles!

25 Golf Courses in the Lake George & Saratoga Springs, NY Region

In this book we tell all that we found in exploring more than 25 area golf courses and what they had to offer, good or bad. And, as usual, we tell you where they are, and how to get to them from I-87. Then we tell you distances, amenities and even evaluate their 19th hole facilities. More than 80 full-color photos actually show you the beauty and resources of these golf courses. Exploring more than 25 golf courses will actually take you a couple of summers. ThatÕs why we did the work for you!

25 Interesting Bicycle Trails in the Lake George, NY Region

From a short, family friendly "ice cream" ride to a 50 mile long designated state bike route, this book offers more than 25 options in between. Both on-road and off-road biking locations are covered. The 15 mile round trip, paved Warren County Bike Trail is included, as are segments of the connected, but unpaved, Feeder Canal Trail system. Off-road mountain biking locations are also covered in this comprehensive regional book. More than 60 photos, explicit directions from I-87 and GPS readings for trails and landmarks are all included. Bicycling opportunities abound in the Lake George Region, but only if you know about them. In this book we tell you where to go, how to get there and what youÕll find - because weÕve been there!

Wildflowers of the Lake George, NY Region - Spring Edition

Wildflowers of the Lake George, NY Region - Spring Edition Roger Fulton and Diane Collins, a local wildflower photographer, have teamed up to write a wildflower book for the Lake George, NY region. They spent an entire season researching and identifying the ever-changing wildflowers at ten locations. They photographed and documented what they found and where they found it. Their unique approach included taking GPS readings to help you locate individual species of spring wildflowers along ten trails in the Lake George Region. (We believe this is the first wildflower book to do that.) The ten sites are on readily accessible public lands, complete with their own GPS readings and explicit directions from I-87.No GPS? You can still use this book to identify the wildflowers you see on your own. This Spring Edition covers 75 of the area's wildflowers with full color photos of each. Special tales are included for most of them, as well as the standards facts and figures about each one. And, yes, there will be a Summer Edition coming out soon with another 75 summer wildflowers to enjoy.

Common Man Hiking and Biking Trail Guide Series

If you want to get out and explore the great outdoors, but don't know where to go... and don't want to work too hard when you get there... then this series of trail guides is for you!

Each book contains more than 60 color photographs and has easy-to-follow directions from an Interstate highway. Each trail listed is described in detail and is rated easy, moderate or difficult. They are spiral bound on the top and designed to fit easily into your pocket or backpack.

The series is known as the "Common Man" series because the average man or woman can actually do these trails. If you can't, we tell you that you can't. Each book tells you what we found and what you can expect to see and experience. A log sheet is included for each hike so you can record your experiences.

All books in the Common Man Series are bound in a durable hip-pocket size spiral format.
